How to run an AI analysis on multiple images in Zapier

Learn how you can compare, contrast, and extract insights from multiple images with the PagePixels Screenshots app in Zapier.

Introduction

Using the PagePixels Screenshot Zapier app, you can automatically run AI-powered analysis on multiple images guided by your custom prompts in Zapier.

To achieve this, you can use PagePixels' Analyze Any Image with AI Action in Zapier. This Action can send up to 5 images and 5 custom text prompts to OpenAI (creators of ChatGPT) for visual AI analysis at the same time.

  • An image can be a direct link to a screenshot or any PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or GIF image file up to 20MB in size. Image URLs can come from any app in Zapier.
  • A prompt can refer to any image, compare multiple images, and be up to 2000 characters.
  • Each prompt and each image submitted for analysis uses 1 AI Analysis Credit. The example in this tutorial uses 5 AI Analysis credits to analyze 2 images and 3 prompts.

OpenAI technology is ready to go in the PagePixels Screenshots Zapier app. No OpenAI keys are required, and all PagePixels accounts get 25 FREE AI Analysis credits per month.

Once you've set up your Analyze Any Image with AI automation in Zapier, you can connect it to thousands of apps Zapier supports, like Gmail, Slack, and Google Sheets.

To demonstrate Multiple Image AI Analysis capabilties in Zapier, this tutorial provides an example how to take and use AI to analyze multiple screenshot images of Google Search results pages.

How to capture and have AI analyze multiple images in Zapier

Let's say you want to take daily screenshots of Google search result pages for different keywords related to your business, and compare the results in those images with AI. To accomplish this in Zapier:

1

Create a new Zap

Click "Create", then select "Zap" from the list of options.

2

Set up your Trigger app event

Click "Trigger" and select the app event that starts your Zap.

For example, you can use Zapier's Schedule "Every Day" app event to trigger your screenshot automation at a specified time each day.

Click "Continue" and configure your desired schedule.

Click "Continue" again, and test your Trigger.

Click "Continue with selected record" to finish setting up your Trigger app event.

3

Set up your first web page screenshot Action event

Search for "pagepixels" and choose the "PagePixels Screenshots" app.

Select the Take a Screenshot of a Web Page Action event.

Add your URL to the Website URL field. Click "Continue."

Click the "Test Step" button.

Preview the test response.

4

Set up your second screenshot Action event

Click the plus "Add Step" button.

Repeat Step 3 using a different URL.

For instance, we'll take a screenshot of the Google Search results page for "animal hospital seattle washington" and compare it to "veterinary hospital seattle washington" taken in the previous step.

5

Set up your Analyze Any Image Action app event.

Click the plus "Add Step" button, and select the PagePixels Screenshots app Analyze Any Image With AI Action event. Click "Continue."

To add the screenshot images for analysis, click the plus button or use the forward slash (/) command in the Image URL field.

Select the "Direct Link" data value from each PagePixels app to add the screenshot images for analysis.

Give the AI instructions by adding your custom prompt(s) in the AI Prompts field. Click "Continue."

Click "Test Step."

Preview the test response.

Now your AI Analysis response data is ready to be sent to another Zapier app, such as Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
