How to automate taking screenshots of Gmail emails with Zapier

How to take automatic screenshots of Gmail emails using Zapier

To automatically screenshot new Gmail email messages in Zapier:

Create a new Zap

Click "Create", then select "Zap" from the list of options.

Set up Gmail New Email Trigger app event

Click the Trigger button.

Search and select the Gmail app.

Select the "New Email" app event.

Choose or connect your Gmail account. Click Continue.

Configure which new Gmail email messages you want to monitor for your trigger. Click Continue.

Click Test trigger.

Click Continue with selected record to finish setting up your Trigger app event.

Set up PagePixels Take a Screenshot of Custom HTML Action app event

Search for "pagepixels" and choose the "PagePixels Screenshots" app.

Select the Take a Screenshot of a Custom HTML Action event.

Choose your PagePixels account and click Continue.

Add HTML tags into the "Custom HTML" field. Use the plus button to select the Gmail data you want to include in your screenshot.

Set the "Full Page" field to True to capture the entire email.

Finish configuring your screenshot and click Continue.

Click Test Step button.

Preview the test response.

Upload the screenshot to another Zapier app.

Click the plus Add Step button, and select your desired app.

For this example, search for and select the Google Drive app.

Choose the Upload file action event. Authorize or select your Google Drive account, and click the Continue button.

Click the plus button and select Direct Link to add your screenshot to the "File" field.

Finish configuring your Google Drive upload, and click Continue.

Click Test Step to test uploading your screenshot file to Google Drive.

Click Publish to activate your Zap automation.

EXAMPLE RESULT

Your Zapier screenshot automation is active. Now when a new email arrives, PagePixels will capture a screenshot of your Gmail email and the image will upload to your Google Drive.
