How to capture scheduled screenshots of public Monday.com calendars

Learn how to automatically take screenshots of your Monday.com calendars with the PagePixels web app.

Introduction

PagePixels is a screenshot automation tool that you can use to take scheduled screenshots of web pages, including screenshots of your public Monday.com calendars.

PagePixels is free to start, and this tutorial demonstrates how to automatically capture daily screenshots of a Monday.com board calendar view.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A PagePixels account.
  • A public embed URL for your Monday.com calendar. To get the embed URL:
    • Go into the Share settings dialog for your calendar view.

    • Copy the value of the src attribute from the Embed code field.

How to automate screenshots of public Monday.com calendars

To capture daily automatic screenshots of a public Monday.com calendar:

Create a screenshot

Log in to your PagePixels account, and click the +Create Screenshot button.

Set your schedule

By default, scheduled screenshots are taken every 5 minutes.

For a daily screenshot, update the fields to: 1 Days

Add URL

Copy and paste the public embed URL for your Monday.com calendar into the Website URL to Capture field.

For example:

Note: See the Prerequisites section for how to get your calendar's Embed URL in Monday.

Increase Wait Time

Scroll to the Waiting section.

Change the Time to wait value from 1500 (default) to: 8000

This gives the page more time to load before the screenshot gets taken. Maximum is 20000 (ms) *

*Note: If you've purchased the 5-minute TimeOut Addon, your maximum wait time is: 300000 (ms)

Check Full Page Advanced

Scroll to the Page Setup section. Tick the Full Page Advanced checkbox.

This option uses an advanced algorithm to trigger lazy loaded content and capture the entire page.

Save Screenshot

Click the green Save Screenshot button (top-right).

Your screenshot automation is officially set, and your first Monday.com calendar screenshot will be taken shortly.
