How to automatically take full page screenshots of Workable job postings

Learn how to capture recurring screenshots of job listings that use the Workable recruiting platform with PagePixels.

Introduction

PagePixels is a screenshot automation tool that you can use to take automated scheduled screenshots of web pages, including screenshots of Workable job postings.

PagePixels is free to start, and this tutorial shows you the steps to automatically capture screenshots of a Workable job listing on a daily schedule.

How to automate capturing screenshots of Workable job posts

To take scheduled screenshots of a Workable job posting page:

Create a screenshot

Log in to your PagePixels account, and click the +Create Screenshot button.

Set your schedule

By default, scheduled screenshots are taken every 5 minutes.

For a daily screenshot, update the fields to: 1 Days

Add URL

Copy and paste a Workable job posting link into the Website URL to Capture field.

Check Full Page

Scroll to the Page Setup section. Tick the Full Page checkbox.

This option scrolls and takes a screenshot of the entire page.

Check No Cookie Banners

Scroll to the Ads, Tracking, and Javascript section. Select the No Cookie Banners option.

This option removes the most common cookie banners from displaying in your screenshot.

Save Screenshot

Click the green Save Screenshot button (top-right).

Your screenshot automation is officially set, and your first Workable job posting screenshot will be taken shortly.
